empyrean ii

I originally completed Empyrean I in late May, but redid the background and enhanced some other features in June, which created Empyrean II. I took videos of much of the early process when completing this piece, which can be seen on my Instagram. The original background was just a starry sky, but I felt the lightning fit the piece better. This is the last piece in which I used the solid black tears, though I continued the use of the pupiless eyes.
